Wow what a fantastic villa, Stuart and cath thought of everything it's a home not a rental, have stayed at other villas which are not so equipped as villa zeytin koru? Welcome pack even having bread delivery every morning by the pool guy 😊 , lots of seating areas to relax, fantastic pool that can be heated if needed but with the sun on it the temperature was between 24c and 27c in October, view was amazing of sea and mountains that surrounds this amazing villa, shops and restaurants so close no need for car or taxis , nice relaxing walk into kalkan town passing many shops and restaurants on the way , Stuart and cath have even made an app to help and guide around the area down to short cut house kitchen which is a must the view and ambience of this restaurant wow , caths guide to Turkish brilliant 😊 is really helpful although some of the Turkish that is spoken is old Turkish, we have fallen for zeytin koru we have had to book for the next holiday before we left 😊

What can I say? Villa was absolutely superb. We have been to Kalkan before but first time at this villa and it was beautiful. Home from home.
Nice touches like welcome pack, bread delivered every day didn’t even have to worry about toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, sponges etc.
The view was wonderful as was the pool. Great location.

Seating areas were great, plenty of shade or sunshine when needed and the added bonus of table tennis etc.

Sharon and Rambo were great. Anything u needed, which to be fair we didn’t, only advise on a few things and they responded very quickly, even down to giving us a taxi number for us for very short journeys as mother in law could not walk far.

All in all would definitely book again.
Thank you so much for a memorable holiday.

We came to Kalkan in August 2023 and what a beautiful holiday we had ! Stuart and Kath had thought of everything we needed and was like a home from home! Fresh bread everyday when we woke up was just one of the generous gestures we can mention. Sharon and Rambo were at the end of the phone if we needed them for any advice and was greatly appreciated. . We can’t wait to return and already trying to decide dates ready to explore more . We (two fifty somethings. three young adult children & one partner) enjoyed a fantastic two week holiday in September 2023 at this beautiful villa. Having holidayed in Kalkan on four previous occasions we know the area well and found the location of Zeytin Koru to be perfect. You are blessed with some fantastic restaurants in Kalamar and a well-stocked Carrefour supermarket being only a one minute walk away. In addition, a few minutes in a taxi sees you arrive in the centre of Kalkan, with its abundance of bars and stunning rooftop restaurants or one of the many beach clubs..

The villa is incredibly spacious with a very large pool and sunbathing area, which are complemented by terraces on the first and second floors offering breathtaking views over Kalamar bay. Each of the four bedrooms has its own large terrace with patio furniture, meaning you could stay a week and dine in a different area every day!

Stuart is a fantastic host arranging seamless, professional transfers to and from the airport and his local hosts, Sharon & Rambo, are on hand to answer any questions and ensure the villa and pool are maintained to the highest standard. The villa really does include every thing (and more) you could possibly require for a relaxing holiday.

We very much hope to return!

Thank you from David, Lucy & Family

Fabulous villa and very helpful owner
Left on Sep 13, 2023 for a stay in Aug 2023
We had a really special 7 night stay at this stunning villa. We were 2 adults and 3 teens (14, 16, 18). There was plenty of space for everyone and so many nice touches at the Villa that made the holiday even better. These included UK travel adapters in the bedrooms, fresh bread delivered daily, the large pool with pool towels and plenty of shade (and sun!) to name but a few, we couldn’t have asked for more. There is a supermarket a stones throw away and a nice walk to town past lots of bars and restaurants. Despite being near enough to town to walk, the villa is far enough away to be quiet and relaxed. Stuart was really helpful and arranged our transfers from Dalaman and made sure we had all the information we needed to enjoy our first holiday to Kalkan. We all hope to come back again next year as we enjoyed it so much.

We spent 10 days at Villa Zeytin Koru in July and had the best time. The villa is so spacious and comfortable. It’s very well equipped and so has everything you need for a very relaxing holiday. The pool is gorgeous and very well looked after and there are a lot of shady areas to sit and relax when it’s so hot.
My teenagers loved the gym!
Thanks so much, we loved our first trip to Kalkan. It’s such a special place with so many delicious restaurants. We loved eating at Mabeyn, The Rose, Bodeyma Tepe, Mr Cook, The Olive Garden, Akin, Coriander, Ata Kebap and Zula Fish.
We had a brilliant day on Therapy Boat so would also really recommend that.
Many thanks to Stuart and Sharon for all their arrangements. The airport transfers were very efficient and we felt very looked after.

Just returned from yet another fabulous holiday to Kalkan, but our first to Villa Zeytin Koru, what a find! The villa is beautiful and Stuart and Cath have thought of everything. Very well equipped and very comfortable. The outside area is equally amazing with lots of different seating areas, large pool, comfy sunbeds and substantial unbrellas for shade. Lots or restaurants nearby if you don't fancy the walk into town, our favourite being the House Kitchen. The welcome pack plus daily delivery of bread was much appreciated.
Must also mention Sharon and Rambo who were very helpful and dealt quickly with any queries we had.
Booking was easy and communications excellent at all times.
We will definitely be looking to return

Lovely Villa break
Left on Nov 11, 2022 for a stay in Oct 2022
Due to COVID we had to change dates a couple of times. Stuart was very accommodating and understanding. He provided lots of information and recommendations pre-trip which came in really useful. This was our 1st villa holiday 3 adults and 3 teenagers as we usually go for hotels but we really enjoyed the freedom of the villa. The pool Was heated and a really good size. Villa had 3 double bedrooms on the ground floor, 1st-floor kitchen/living area and 2nd floor - main bedroom with a beautiful sea view. Villa has everything u could ask for and Sharon caretaker was available to answer questions and give advice on restaurants. Locally there is a supermarket within 200 yards which was ideal for stocking up with food/drinks. There was a welcome pack provided which was a nice touch so we had drinks/food available for 1st day. There are lots of local cafes/restaurants in the area. We liked cafe vita which did English breakfasts and snacks. The villa is approx 20 mins walk to the old town. Sharon provided a taxi number who we used regularly costing approx £3 per journey. The villa is in a nice spot we enjoyed a couple of days around the pool, a couple of days at the local beach clubs and a boat trip from the harbour. Would definitely return to the area and villa in the future.

Villa host Stuart. What a great chap. From booking to rearranging our booking was fantastic. Great communicator.
Stayed October 22 for 10 days.
Arrived late evening and had brilliant instructions how to get in villa, was so easy. A welcome pack on arrival was great fully welcomed by our party of 6.
Sharon popped by to give us info on villa, surroundings, trips and good restaurants. And left her number to contact if needed.
A very spacious villa with a fantastic huge pool. We opted to pay extra for heated pool as didn’t know what kind of temperature we would be arriving to. Glad we done so as the water temp was perfect.
Every aspect of the villa worked well for us. Myself and wife bagged the top room and what a superb view you get from the lovely large balcony up there.
The living area on mid floor is huge and enough space for a large group or family.
We spent most of time outside on the veranda. It was the hub of our holiday whilst in the villa. Very comfortable furnishings and very well kept.
This place feels like a proper home with all facilities you could wish for. Very well equipped. Nothing unthought of.
Fabulous having a supermarket 1 minute away and gorgeous restaurants on your doorstep if not wanting to wander on down to the stunning town of Kalkan which takes around 20 mins to walk. Well worth doing. Such a wonderful friendly atmosphere to be in. Fantastic foods and lovely little cobbled streets to browse through.
Taxi services are great and so cheap to use. You kinda need them if not feeling up to walking back from the town.
We had amazing weather in October here and couldn’t fault a thing. I have already recommended this villa to numerous friends that have messaged through seeing fb posts of our holiday here.
Thank you for an amazing stay in Kalkan Stuart

Excellent villa. Very helpful owner Stuart

Lovely large villa with good size bedrooms. All with ensuite. Good deep pool which helps you to keep cool. Plenty of shade available. Very well equipped kitchen. We had some great trips arranged by Sharon who visits on the first day. Saklikent Gorge where you can walk up the river bed (water shoes needed) and water rafting, and Meis Island which is a beautiful slice of Greece.

Fabulous

What a joy! We have just spent an absolutely lovely 16 days at Villa Zeytin Koru and there is nothing but positives that we can take away from our stay. Stuart is an exceptional host, and his communication and service is first class. We had originally booked pre-Covid and he was fantastic at keeping us up to date with everything, right up until our arrival. And he made no fuss about any changes that we needed to make, having had to re-schedule, more than once. We were fortunate in that we met him on arrival at the villa and it was certainly nice to put a face to our host. The villa is equipped with everything that you need and more. In fact, you will probably find things that you didn't know you needed, as he really has thought of everything. Take a look in all of the cupboards as you will be surprised at what you find. There are also so many additional extras, sun cream, mozzie repellent, hats, a well stocked cupboard with laundry essentials, loo rolls etc ( most of which you usually have to provide for yourself) The villa itself is well furnished and spacious and even with eight of us, there was more than enough room for us to all be together, or to find our own quiet corner. I especially loved the egg chair and took immediate possession 😀. The pool is a great size and allows for some swimming as well as just a dip or two to cool off, and there are plenty of loungers and parasols for some shade when the sun beats down. The cost of the stay is very reasonable and the neighbours are lovely. The villa is great for all ages and generations, in fact, it is a perfect spot for a multi-generational stay. Kalkan and Kalamar Bay are lovely places to be, and if you haven’t yet visited, I recommend the location and Villa Zeytin Koru. I am certain that we will stay again.

We recently returned from 2 weeks in this lovely villa and we would all definitely recommend it. We were supposed to come in April 2020 but covid put a stop to that, and Stuart the owner could not have been more helpful as the dates had to be rearranged time and time again. We arrived late at night and were met at the door by a manager, and Sharon the manager came the next morning to answer any questions we had. There is also the most useful folder with info everything from using the washing machine to local history. The villa itself is the most well equipped we have ever stayed at. There is a new supermarket a stones throw away which sells toiletries, etc at the same price as the uk so next time I don't think I would even bring those. The villa itself is spacious and the living area set over 3 levels- I liked being able to keep an eye on the kids in the pool from the terrace above, out of the splash zone! The pool was large and warm- we had asked for it to be heated as we were there so early in the season, and it was warm from day one which isnt always the case we've found. There were flippers and pool toys, and a shop nearby sold lots of other toys and inflatables. The teens were delighted to find a games room in the basement and the pool was used all day every day. We walked into the harbour most days, but usually had breakfast or lunch at Cafe vita just round the corner and often had dinner at Aqua where we were made very welcome. We are a family of 2 adults and 4 kids aged 10-18 and everyone had a great time.

A great villa with stunning view across kalamar bay. We chose the villa Zeytin Koru because it had a heated pool that although it is deep at one end is child friendly because of its shape and shallower end allowing us to stand up. But it also has a connected heated kids pool and Stuart the owner provides lots of swimming and playing aides. There is a variety of flotation jackets that meant our 16 month old grandson and 4 year old grandson had a great time in a safe manner. The villa is very large set in its own grounds so a large family could easily get some private time. There are terraces everywhere and lots of places to eat or relax. The views are stunning and the local restaurants only 5 minutes walk away. It’s about a twenty minute walk into town or 5/6 minutes in a taxi. About £3 for a taxi cab full of people. The inside of the villa is very well appointed with quality furnishing. All the bedroom are en suite with comfortable beds. All in all a great villa spotlessly clean and well kept. The owners are very nice and clearly care on making your stay happy and carefree. I would highly recommend the villa to anyone wishing a holiday in a private setting. You will not be disappointed. ( unless it’s already fully booked with returning guests). Thank you for a great time with our family. Ps. October still a great month to visit.

Great place, great owner
We booked this villa very last minute as a late substitute for a July booking at a different villa that we had to cancel due to Covid. We got very lucky!

Stuart, the owner, was extremely helpful and patient whilst we juggled several balls to get our booking confirmed.

The villa exceeded our expectations. It’s nicely decorated and very well fitted out with lots of space for our group of six - including 4 teenagers - and a great pool. The location is great - a fairly short walk to Kalkan Beach Club, close to several good local restaurants and cafes and even walking distance to or from town (though taxis and cheap and plentiful).

Would definitely recommend this.

Gets better and better
We first stayed in Villa Zeytin Koru in 2011.

The fact we've gone back to the same villa ever since must give a clue about how much we like it. There is plenty of space inside and out and the whole villa is really well thought out and equipped, as well as having a really generous pool. The pool can now also be heated if you come outside the hottest part of the season, so that must be a great bonus too. Stuart and Cath have made other improvements over the years and these include a new kitchen, beautiful new en suites to all the bedrooms and a fabulous extension to the first floor terrace. This provides a lovely seating area to enjoy the first coffee of the day whilst gazing at the stunning view or to enjoy the last drink of the evening.

I had a 3rd week this year in different accommodation and it really highlighted the little touches which are provided at Villa Zeytin Koru but not everywhere else, it seems. There is always a very useful welcome pack of essentials to get you started, so you can have a drink or snack as soon as you arrive. The information pack covers everything you need to know about the Villa itself and about Kalkan too. So if you've never been before that's a great help. And there is a stock of info about individual local restaurants and places to see as well as numbers for taxi services. As regulars we don't often need to contact the local management team but, on the odd occasion we've had a query, it's sorted out immediately and fresh bread is delivered promptly every morning - that's a real help! The villa is always spotless on arrival and the cleaners are really efficient when they come to change bedding and towels and give the place another thorough clean each week.

The Villa is within walking distance of the main town but if you prefer to use a taxi, these are cheap and plentiful. There are some very good local restaurants within a few minutes walk, as well as supermarkets. So it has the benefit of being away from the occasional noisier spots in Kalkan without feeling too far from the main action.

We are a group of 10 people who have used Villa Zeytin Koru between us over the last few years and it is highly recommended by all of us.

Everything needed in one place.
Firstly, I must start with the extraordinary year this has been with Covid 19 around the world. Many cases where private bookings had been made and their deposits to private landlords, lost.

The owner, Stuart was quick to put our minds at rest and he made available a temporary date for 2021 but monitored the situation on a weekly basis on the travel restrictions.

Our holiday did go ahead as planned. The minibus provided was very clean and hygienic. We were greeted upon our arrival by the owner of the transport at the villa.

The villa is very well equipped we needed to take very little with us. BBQ on the balcony overlooking a great swimming pool. (Wi-Fi for the grandchildren, a must)

Everyone uses the local taxis which seem to have a fixed rate of 20 TL per trip and we got 5 persons into them. There is now a new supermarket nearby, walking distance and good restaurants and entertainment. There is also a small working harbour.

We were also greeted by a local agent who arranged our trips. Historical sites, rafting and a fishing boat. Good advice on restaurants in the port. I had done some research on our trips and in all fairness, we didn’t feel that an advantage had been taken in asking the agent to act on our behalf, who after all, knows best.

Kalkan is a hidden gem. Its geographical location means that it cannot be swamped with tourists. There is a very genuine friendliness of the locals, most you meet will speak English. Turkey is a large country with a fascinating history and many places to visit. But for a first (and in our case 2nd) holiday, this villa in Kalkan is a must for families.

Absolutely perfect
Left on Oct 23, 2019 for a stay in Oct 2019

Lying on the upstairs terrace on a comfortable sunbed listening to Eva Cassidy playing out of one of the numerous blue tooth speakers (this one has external speakers to the terrace) on our second to last day and contemplating the perfection of this villa! We are visiting as a party of 8 (ranging from 6 to 74 years old). This villa has stunning views and every creature comfort you could ask for! Having the pool heated was just brilliant...we visited a hotel in Turkey this time last year and there was no way we could go into the pool...too cold ...but the temperature of the villa pool was perfect. The town of Kalkan itself is delightful. We didn’t feel the need to visit a beach club as we enjoyed the pebbly beach in town with its resident turtle and a few minutes drive away is stunning Patara beach which has a lovely strip of cute little restaurants. We ate in a couple of nights but also enjoyed a lovely roof top meal at Mey and Meze in the town and danced the night away at Cafe vita’s bbq night. Stuart was very helpful before we arrived and Sharon whilst we were there..thank you both! Slightly disappointed that we already have next year’s holiday booked but definitely looking at an October visit in 2021!

Spacious, well equipped villa in a good location.
Left on Oct 22, 2019 for a stay in Oct 2019

We recently returned from a fabulous week in Villa Zeytin Koru. The villa is a relatively level 15 minute walk into town, just off the Kalamar Road in an area well-served by lots of good quality restaurants if the walk seems too long. However, one of our favourite nights was when we put the candles out on the table of the biggest terrace,(there are several!) bought in plates of nibbles and watched the sun go down before we spent the evening playing Charades and Who Am I. We were lucky with the weather for the time of year but felt the added benefit of the luxury that a heated pool brings. We had two day trips arranged courtesy of Sharon and Rambo who popped in to see us at the start of the holiday to check everything was o.k. and were on hand at all times to help with all arrangements and to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Thank you so much for the use of this beautiful villa.

We have stayed in several villas in Kalkan and Zeytin Koru is up there with the best! In a terrific position close to Kalamar Bay and a two-minute walk from the lovely Yelken restaurant, the villa has every conceivable piece of equipment, comfortable beds, an enormous pool - rare in Kalkan, where the majority of villas and apartments have silly little plunge-pools - and is spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. There's Sky TV and also loads of gadgets.

Stuart is a great communicator, and every piece of information you could ever need is emailed to you prior to your visit. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - it's just lovely.

5-19 June 2019. June Bob Nicola & Mark from Bristol/Newbury

We have been coming to Kalkan for many years but this year is a special one to celebrate joint 75th and 50th birthdays! We couldn’t have picked a better villa it was simply perfect. Stunning views, amazing pool, we loved the different terraces too. Beds were super comfy, and it was fab to have music facility in all bedrooms. It really was home from home. Lots of little touches like citronella candles (for our early evening G&T with the fab view) and wine stoppers, ice-cube trays, etc. etc. In fact we think this is by far the best villa we have ever stayed in ….. ever!
We hired a car for a couple of days from Brave Tours, very reasonably price and brilliant customer service, we went one day to Patara, we visited the ruins and then ended the day on Patara beach. We also went one day to Kas. A lovely lunch with magnificent views. On the way back we found a beautiful little cove with a beach club, we swam one side of the road then wandered across the road for a cold beer and chill out for an hour in the shade. The beach was on the peninsula coming out of Kas. Back in Kalkan, we visited the Kalamar beach club, 25TL per person and that included entry, sunbed & umbrella, use of canoe, pedalo, sea trampoline etc. and also a taxi there and back! Meals there were very good, and they do a great iced coffee. We snorkelled and saw tones of fish, pipe fish, a moray eel (which was quite big and made me a bit nervous) and we were so lucky and saw a sea turtle!!
Good restaurants we ate in were: Aqua – lovely sea bass, Rose’s restaurant in town, before you get to the taxi rank (side street) for great authentic Turkish food. Doy Doy did brilliant steaks and we had an amazing chateaubriand at café Vita. Also good cocktails at Yelken and café Vita, we realised if you order Bombay Sapphire you get a huge, crystal goblet!! Recommend the Gin Gin Mule cocktail at Yelken, and the Long Island Iced Tea there is potent!! Shade Lounge (Hash and Charlotte) in town is very welcoming and are the perfect young hosts, very friendly and welcoming.
Lastly, we found a family of tortoises in the lower garden, they were very grateful for our leftover lettuce and salad. Whilst there we saw the lemon trees and picked a few for our gins later in the day……… All in all a most relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Thank you Cath and Stuart and appreciated the mid holiday call to check we were ok!!

We are a family 6 adults and 4 children aged 11, 9, 4 and 2 and Villa Zeytin Koru was perfect for our family holiday. The villa was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a comfortable home from home stay, the pool area is fantastic with really comfortable sun beds and a lovely pool.

Stuart, the owner, could not have been more helpful throughout the booking process and we were provided with lots of information about the villa and Kalkan, he also kindly organised our transfers, which were first class.

Sharon, the manager ( who is English) visited us on our first day to check that all was well and to offer help and guidance if required. We visited Patara beach one morning and Saklikent Gorge on another day using the services of a private mini bus and driver that was arranged by Sharon for us. Both excursions were enjoyed by all.

The villa is conveniently located with wonderful views and close to a couple of small supermarkets, that seem to stock everything you could possibly need, and plenty of restaurants. We had a couple of takeaways delivered to the villa on a lunch time from Oz Adana and Foto Pizza and would recommend both. We often prepared simple lunches in the villa and there was plenty of crockery and utensils to accommodate this.

On an evening we walked into town and back again, with just the occasional use of taxis, the choice of bars and restaurants is immense and all offer excellent service and food, below is just a few of our particular favourites, though everywhere we went was excellent.

Botanic Garden Bar - a lovely chilled atmosphere.
Pashas - on the Kalamar Road on the way down to the town- really good G & T'S and cocktails.
Alternatif - we agreed we all had one of the tastiest meals of our holiday here.
Adams Place - we were blown away by the Turkish breakfast we had in such an amazing location, we visited near the end of our holiday and if we had had time would have loved to sample lunch or dinner here.

We had a fab holiday and would absolutely recommend Villa Zeytin Koru, nearly forgot to mention the welcome pack waiting for us in the villa was very good and Stuart had arranged for fresh bread to be delivered each morning, (delivered by the pool man) which was greatly appreciated as it saved someone having to get ready earlier to collect it from the supermarket.

Fabulous

We have been going to Kalkan for 10+ years and every time we fall more in love with the place. This year was no exception and staying in this beautiful family villa made it even better. Perfect location with stunning sea views. This villa was immaculate inside and out. Everything was catered for, the beds & bedrooms were spacious and comfy. Amenities were bar none, the owners had really thought of everything. Couldn’t recommend this villa highly enough.

This was our 2nd visit to villa zeytin koru and it was just as amazing as our last visit. The villa has everything you could possibly want and more. The pool area is fantastic. We have been to Kalkan a few Times and this is the best villa we have stayed in. Stuart made the whole booking process simple and a pleasure. Hillside Villa with views
Spent two weeks here with up to 8 adults and 3 children and it never felt crowded. Kids really enjoyed the the lovely clear pool. Very convenient placed for lots of really nice restaurants and cocktail bars. The villa is well equipped with leisure equipment as well as everything required to cook or bbq and spend an evening staying in. The high street is a 15 min easy walk and leads down to a delightful harbour and beach. Everything from cashpoints cafes and gift shops. Boat hire is a must. Take a private family boat and visit the many islands coves and perfect snorkeling sites. No need to hire a car as the taxis are so cheap. We loved it.

Fabulous family holiday in an amazing villa!

This was our 2nd visit to Zeytin Koru, arriving late at night to a great welcome pack and a spotless place to call home for two weeks. All the boys dived straight in to the pool, despite it being way past my two Grandsons bedtime! The villa is really well equipped and comfortable, with a brilliant pool, comfy beds, efficient air conditioning ( essential in August!), and a great location! We were a four generation family group and there was something for everyone to enjoy. Kalkan is a gorgeous town and the villa is an easy walk from the old town. With brilliant restaurants a short walk away - we tried Yelkin for lunch and dinner, which was a gem just 50m away, Chillies, The Brothers, and of course Cafe Vita (book for the Wednesday night BBQ for good food and live music) - you don’t have to venture far. In town we tried DoyDoy, Gusto, Trio, and Linekers, for great value, delicious lunches, and a great last evening dinner in Gourmet on the rooftop terrace. Sharon, the manager, arranged a boat trip on ‘Therapy’ and it certainly was - a must do, along with a Turkish Bath, and a shave for the big boys! My Grandaughter celebrated her 1st Birthday and Stuart, the owner, recommended a local cake maker. She made an amazing, delicious cake, delivered to the villa. I would highly recommend her for any celebration cake. Thank you, Stuart and Cath, for sharing your wonderful villa. Saving for visit no. 3!

Brilliant villa in a great location
The villa itself was beautiful, excellent views especially from the room on the top floor. We felt at home almost straight away with a lovely welcome pack that had been made up for our group including a few beers a bottle of wine and some freshly baked bread. There are shops and restaurants in the local vicinity, however, most of the action goes on in town which was just 15 mins away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay will certainly be coming back again cannot praise the villa enough

Our first trip to Villa Zeytin Koru and also to Kalkan. We loved both and I feel sure we will be back.
Great to stay in a villa which was so well equipped and beautifully furnished. There are so many great restaurants in Kalkan you probably won't want to use the kitchen but if you do the kitchen cooking utensils and crockery are extremely comprehensive.
The numerous outside sitting areas allow you to party or chill in the beautiful Turkish climate depending on your mood. The pool is excellent- you won't end up concussed diving in and it is wonderfully refreshing in the heat of the day. Modern air on in the bedrooms mean you are always comfortable.
Sharon and Rami who manage the property are locally based and extremely prompt to respond.
An exceptional property in a marvellous town

All facilities are provided to minute detail and the place is immaculate. There are also many excellent eateries and amenities on the doorstep. The villa is also perfect for families as there is a games console, pool (with children's pool) as well as plenty of floats etc. Can't recommend it highly enough.

This is a fantastic villa in Kalamar district of Kalkan with high quality features, furnishings and technology. A huge amount of thought has gone in by the owners into making sure visitors have everything they need for a stress free and successful holiday, with many thoughtful touches. The villa is well set up for parties with children and for our party with teenage boys, good wifi across the whole property was appreciated as was the set of gym weights. A very large property outside and inside on many floors, so space for large groups and a great pool area. The location just off the Kalamar road is ideal, quiet, but with easy access to Kalkan centre. Having stayed in many villas in this area over the years can highly recommend this one.

Our 2nd visit to the villa and you don't go back to a place unless you are happy and we were more than happy! I'm sure there will be someone out there who could find fault with the villa, customer service etc but I would suggest in such circumstances any "problem" is more likely to be with the person. Great facilities, some lovely local restaurants - highly recommended!!

villa was perfect, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly want. Welcome pack was full of information and advice, also recommendations of many restaurants nearby which were all excellent. Location ideal for amenities in town and harbour and plenty of activities to suit all ages.

Beautifully appointed villa for totally relaxing holiday

The villa is beautifully appointed with all the creature-comforts of home, set in a Mediterranean setting. Good sized bedrooms throughout, and a comfortable and large lounger area. Breakfast was taken on the balcony daily.....such a pleasant way to start the day. The villa is in easy walking distance to the town of Kalkan, and we ventured down each day to experience some of the best meals we have ever had on holiday. If I could recommend one activity, it would be the boat cruise of the nearby islands... full days experience, but well worth it. If you don't fancy walking to town, there are numerous restaurants nearby, again all with excellent and tasty menus. This was one of the best holidays we have ever had, and we'll definitely be back to Villa Keytin Koru.

Second visit - says it all!

A lovely villa with enough room for everybody to be together or have some quiet time to yourself. A nice distance from the port for a pleasant walk or if you're feeling lazy there are plenty of great restaurants within 200 yards of the villa gate.

Go and see for yourself you will not be dissappointed!

Left on Sep 22, 2015 for a stay in Sep 2015
We arrived at night so the welcome pack was a god send, we dumped our cases and headed straight out to the Yelkin bistro it was the nearest we could see, it was really nice food. The next morning we couldn't wait to get up and see the views, sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea looking out to sea what more could you want it felt like paradise. The villa more than met our expectations, it has everything you need, we loved the outside space and the decent size pool, it is in a perfect location. The villa felt like home and all the bedrooms are a decent size. There are several bars and restaurants close by so if you don't feel like the walk into town there is no need to. We ended up making Café Vita our local, if we didn't eat in there we always ended up in there for a night cap, such lovely and friendly people and the food is superb, you must go on bar b q night, really good value. We also recommend Ekin Han hotel, the views are wonderful and again the food was superb it was funny meeting a Turkish Scouser (one of the owners) being Scousers ourselves! Another local restaurant to try is The Brothers again really nice food and people, it was funny watching one of the waiters trying in vain to stop a small puppy coming into the restaurant he had to give up in the end! Highlight of out stay was a return to Adams Place it has to be our favourite restaurant he is based on the road to Kas and he will come and pick you up, the restaurant is ran by Adam and his family and nothing is too much trouble, the views are outstanding and the food is divine.Lots of other restaurants in town but too many too mention all of them really nice food and friendly people. Kalkan is such a beautiful place, we love place, the food, the people and the wildlife we even found wild tortoises living in the bottom garden. We have all thoroughly enjoyed and had a very relaxing holiday at Zeytin Koru and will certainly like to return in the future. Thank you :)

A fabulous stay at villa Zeytin Koru

We arrived at villa Zeytin Koru in the early hours of a Saturday morning following a good transfer from Dalaman which was arranged via the owner. It was lovely to arrive to a welcome pack consisting of beer, wine, fruit juice, milk, tea, coffee etc a perfect way to start the holiday! The villa itself is lovely, was spotlessly clean and spacious, with lovely outside space and a fantastic pool. It is actually a traditional Turkish style home, with three bedrooms on the ground floor and the living room & kitchen / diner on the first floor leading onto a lovely terraced area which gives superb sea views and is a lovely place to eat and drink. This type of layout is excellent, as the bedrooms all give easy access to the pool area, so although it feels odd at first, it's very practical. The facilities within the villa are ideal and plentiful, the dishwasher is a god send, the Sky TV was a bonus and the owners even have a little mobile phone left there for you so that the English lady who manages the place for them, Sharon, can contact you or vice versa should the need arise (she gives excellent advice on shops, bars & restaurants etc and lives locally). There is also a very good BBQ on the first floor terrace which we used a couple of times, cooking lovely steaks whilst drinking cold beers looking out to sea is a must! The location of the villa is very good, a car is not required, as it's a ten minute stroll into town (Kalkan is quite hilly but the walk along the Kalamar Road is more or less flat) and if you know the Turks, you'll know that the shop or minimarket owners and most bar / restaurant owners will pick you up or drop you back if you ask. Otherwise, it's a couple of quid in a taxi. As for places to eat, we have holidayed in Turkey for the last 4 years and never had a bad meal, the food standard is brilliant and caters for all. There are so many places to eat in the old town (too many to mention), with several lovely places close to the villa along Kalamar Road such as Cafe Vita (good for breakfast and BBQ night), Yelkin, Kaptans and more besides. Overall we were very happy indeed and would highly recommend this villa.

Luxury stay with fabulous views

We stayed in Zeytin Koru with friends during the first week in May. We were blessed with lovely weather. This is a lovely spacious villa with well decorated rooms all ensuite. The view from our room at the top over Kalkan was stunning with our own private balcony. Other rooms have equally nice views over the pool. The villa was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay and cleaned to a very high standard. Beer and wine plus food essentials were left for our arrival which was a nice touch. If you can bear to tear yourself away from the poolside there are several good restaurants nearby including recently opened The Brothers and Yelken. It takes about 20 minutes to walk down into the old town of Kalkan where there are many more restaurants offering rooftop dining. It is a bit of a hike back up the hill but we enjoyed walking off our dinner and there are plentiful cheap taxis if you would prefer not to walk.

A beautiful well appointed villa in a fabulous location

This a a superb villa in a great location. This villa is spacious and will accommodate 8 people comfortably. The pool is quite large and was warm when we were there (early May). The views down to the bay are lovely. The villa is about half a mile from the town of Kalkan. There are many restaurants within a couple of hundred yards of the villa. This is a great place to stay for a relaxing holiday.

Book it! You will love your stay.

Stuart offered lots of advice before we booked and was so friendly and welcoming and sent us lots of information once we had booked the villa. Emailing us Maps, local information and recommendations. There was a welcome pack with food and drink waiting for us on arrival along with a spotlessly clean and inviting place to stay. My Husband and I travelled with our 2 young children and they had a ball. They loved the pool, all the outside space, TV, Games and of course the amazing games room. The Vila is in a perfect location, there is a excellent Restaurant at the top of the road. Plus lots of choice a short walk into town. We had a car which meant we could explore more, which I recommend. But, this is not necessary as the village of Kalkan has more than enough to tempt. Great Villa, Amazing location. Thank You!

Our best villa yet!

We travelled as an extended family of 11 and zeytin koru was so spacious we never felt on top of each other. There are so many areas to sit and relax. The pool is a great size with steps for ease of access, which my parents greatly appreciated. We had a couple of days with changeable weather, which we expected, so a real bonus was the Nintendo wii, the fussball and air hockey tables. The table tennis table at the front of the villa was a real hit with the teenagers. The villa is exactly as pictured and was spotlessly clean for our arrival. After a week it was fully cleaned again with new sheets and towels. The location is perfect, being just 5 minutes walk from cafe vita on the Kalamar road. This is definitely the best villa we have stayed in yet for the price and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to friends and family.
